Chris Norris -
We are excited to announce that Chris Norris will be teaching our 2 and 5 day classes. Chris has spent 32 years working various onshore production engineering assignments in domestic and international Shell locations. The domestic list includes the northern Michigan Niagaran reef trend, eastern Montana Cedar Creek Anticline, the Denver Unit CO2 flood in West Texas, and the Kernridge steamflood near Bakersfield, CA. There was 10 years with the national oil company of Oman, followed by 3 years designing a downhold heating and production scheme for Colorado oil shale. All of these locations used pumping units.
Chris has exstensive experience in both design and analysis of sucker rod pumping systems using a variety of software and SCADA systems. He has whiled away many a pleasant hour on pulling units, in pump shops, and even supervising an overseas contract to completely rebuild 100 big pumping units.
In addition to our
scheduled schools, Lufkin Automation offers schools tailored to meet
the specific needs of the customer. These special schools can be
