customers who have the new Lufkin Well Manager have access to all new
firmware features as they are realeased.
Utilizing the advanced flash memory features of the Lufkin Well
Manager customers can easily upgrade no matter where they are in the
world. Upgrades are done
via computer, no chips are ever changed in the Lufkin Well Manager.
Lufkin Automation distributes the firmware over the Lufkin
Automation network to all Lufkin offices worldwide.

Upgrades and Enhancements include:
1)
Support for the “Pocket PC”™ hand held devices such as
the CompaQ IpaQ, HP Ipaq.,
2)
Ability to Alarm on a digital state from the flexible I/O
points
3)
Descriptive Log of the last 100 alarm events
4)
RS-485 Master implementation-can act in a Master/Slave
configuration to other devices (such as a Variable Frequency Drive).
