Rod pump control
technology now integrated with automation software for oil and gas
production optimization.
Lufkin
Automation and Theta Enterprises have announced a technology
partnership to integrate and enhance their best-of-breed technologies
for rod pumping systems control, surveillance, diagnostic analysis and
automation.
The
partnership combines Lufkin’s SAM™ rod pump controller with
Theta’s XSPOC smart automation software. “Nothing in the industry
can compare to this combined technology for return on investment,”
says Andy Cordova, marketing manager at Lufkin Automation. “We’ve
brought together the best technologies and easiest-to-use systems in
one complete solution.”
The
SAM rod pump controller calculates the downhole card internally for
accurate control, and provides diagnostic data with every stroke.
XSPOC performs additional analysis and efficiently communicates to the
SAM Well Manager. The combination offers significant well optimization
benefits beyond conventional rod pump controller systems.
